The terms
of the service.
LAST UPDATED: JANUARY 2026
These terms govern your use of Ecoux ("Ecoux", "we", "us") and its website and dashboard. By subscribing to a plan or using the service, you agree to them.
1. What Ecoux does
Ecoux is a payment orchestration layer that sits between your checkout and your Stripe accounts. It routes charges across the accounts you connect, applies traffic filtering, and provides related tooling. Ecoux is an independent product — we are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Stripe, Inc.
2. Your accounts
You connect your own Stripe accounts to Ecoux and confirm that you are authorized to operate them. Your use of Stripe itself remains governed by Stripe's terms, fees, and policies. Ecoux does not replace Stripe and holds no customer funds.
3. Subscriptions and billing
- Plans are billed as a flat monthly fee at our current pricing — never a percentage of your revenue. Stripe's own fees remain payable to Stripe.
- Your subscription renews each billing period until cancelled. You can cancel at any time; access continues to the end of the paid period.
- Failed payments may lead to a pause of the service until the balance is settled.
4. Acceptable use
You are responsible for your store, your products, and your traffic. You must not use Ecoux for unlawful products or services, or in a way that violates Stripe's terms. Traffic filtering is a tool to screen unwanted visitors — you remain responsible for the compliance of what you sell and how you sell it.
5. No guarantee of account standing
Ecoux spreads load across accounts, filters unwanted traffic, and moves payments away from degraded accounts to reduce risk. We cannot and do not guarantee that Stripe will keep any account open, and we cannot control Stripe's decisions, reviews, or enforcement actions.
6. Availability and changes
We work to keep the service running smoothly and improve it over time. We may add, change, or discontinue features; material changes affecting your plan will be communicated in advance. Uptime commitments apply only where explicitly agreed in an Enterprise contract.
7. Termination
You may stop using Ecoux and cancel your subscription at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms — for example unlawful use or abuse of the platform. If we terminate without cause, we refund the unused portion of the current billing period.
8. Disclaimers and liability
The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind beyond what these terms and applicable law state. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost revenue, account suspensions by Stripe, or chargebacks.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the service evolves. We will update this page and the date at the top; continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
