How we handle
your data.
LAST UPDATED: JANUARY 2026
This policy explains what information Ecoux ("Ecoux", "we", "us") collects when you use our Stripe payment orchestration service, why we collect it, and what you can do about it. It applies to our website, our dashboard, and the service itself.
1. Who we are
Ecoux is an independent payment orchestration product for merchants using Stripe. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Stripe, Inc. For any privacy question or request, contact us at contact@ecoux.com or on Telegram at @micheal_ecoux.
2. What we collect
- Contact details — your name, email address, and Telegram handle when you reach out to us or become a customer.
- Billing information — your billing email and subscription status. Payments for Ecoux plans are processed by our payment provider; we do not store your payment card details.
- Service configuration — the Stripe account identifiers you connect, your routing rules, and related settings needed to operate the service.
- Technical and usage data — request logs, device and browser information, and product usage, used to run, secure, and improve the service.
- Traffic screening signals — limited technical metadata from visitors to your checkout, used only to filter unwanted traffic. We do not build visitor profiles for any other purpose.
3. Payment data
Card payments at your checkout are processed by Stripe under its own terms and security standards. Ecoux never collects or stores full card numbers. Your use of Stripe remains governed by Stripe's terms and privacy policy.
4. How we use your information
- To provide, operate, and support the service — routing payments, filtering traffic, and keeping your accounts healthy.
- To bill your subscription and keep accurate records.
- To communicate with you about your account, service updates, and support requests.
- To protect the service: preventing abuse, fraud, and unauthorized access.
- To meet legal obligations where applicable.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
5. Who we share it with
- Service providers — hosting, email, and billing providers that help us run Ecoux, bound by confidentiality obligations.
- Stripe — as the payment processor underlying your connected accounts, when required to operate the service.
- Legal requests — where we are legally required to disclose information.
6. How long we keep it
We keep your information for as long as your subscription is active, plus the period needed for billing records, legal obligations, and dispute resolution. You can ask us to delete your data earlier by contacting us.
7. Security
We use encryption in transit, access controls, and least-privilege practices to protect your data. No system is perfectly secure, but we treat your account data with the same care we'd expect for our own.
8. Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. You may also object to or restrict certain processing. Contact us at contact@ecoux.com and we will respond within a reasonable timeframe.
9. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update this page and the date at the top. Continued use of the service after a change means you accept the updated policy.
